Relationships

Throughout the game Genis develops a relationship with every single one of the characters in the group. However only a few of those relationships are developed. Below are the ones I personally think are the most developed.

Raine Sage is Genis' older sister. Like many siblings they often argue and don't get along in many aspects. Genis is better at her when it comes to cooking and often makes fun of Raine's dismal cooking skills however Raine is smarter then him. Genis thinks of her as more of a motherly like figure then a sister probably because they were separated from their parents when Genis was only an infant.

Lloyd Irving is Genis' best friend. Even though Genis thinks Lloyd is dumb (as Genis is a lot more intelligent) and often ridcules him for making mistakes in school. Despite all that Genis looks up to Lloyd as he is brave and strong unlike him (Who acts tough but is actually physically weaker and is a coward). No matter what happens Genis always stands by Lloyd.

Mithos Yggdrasill is Genis half elf friend. Even though Mithos is the villian of the series that does not indicate he is 100% evil. He considers Genis as his good friend even though they're not on the same side and will protect him. As they're both half elves they share a similar thinking (Humans are all like that, etc.) except Genis can see through it and can face it unlike Mithos.

Presea Combatir is Genis' crush. This relationship is somewhat one sided. Genis thinks of her as a kid (same age as him) because of her small appearance but in reality Presea is actually 28. Presea thinks of him as a friend and nothing more (as far as I can see). Genis says he'll protect Presea no matter what and she lets him. This relationship seems like nothing more then a cute friendship. (Its cute seeing Genis talk to Preasa haha)
