Flanoir

So, I sat there, going through the Flanoir scene recording every single word that came out of Genis and Lloyd until the conversation was over. 20 minutes after, I went to GameFAQs and saw the whole thing already written. How nice, I wasted at least 15 mins. of my life. Yay.

Anyways, this is the scene where Lloyd talks to Genis in Flanoir before heading to the Tower of Salvation. If Genis is one of your top 3 in the affections category then he will stay behind, allowing you to choose him. If not, then you are out of luck. Pretty self explanatory so I don't think any commentary is needed.

G = Genis
L = Lloyd

G: we hardly see snow in Iselia since it's so warm
G: wow this is so cool!
L: Hey, you're going to trip and fa-
G: Don't worry, I'll be fine [falls]
L: see i told you!
L: hey.. you okay?!
G: .. yeah i'm okay
L: are you crying? did you hurt yourself?
G: huh? heheh, no it's not like that. I just got a little scared.
L: of what?
G: i just thought of mithos as an angel... he probably wouldn't even notice that its cold. L: ... maybe.
L: maybe he just wants to reject everything about who he is.
L: being human, being elven... even being half-elven.
G: tomorrow, after we make sure Altessa's okay, we're going to finally put an end to all of this, aren't we?
L: huh? why do you ask? yeah, that's the plan, anyway.
G: then, is it okay for me to take Mithos' side for just a minute?
L: what?
G: I can kind of understand how he feels. Just a little.
L: Really?
G: when we were chased out of Iselia, I...
G: I cursed the fact that I was part human. I couldn't stand it.
L: I see.
G: When raine and I were refused at Heimdall, I was so embarrassed and frustrated.
L: yeah..
G: I'm neither human or elf. Neither side will accept me.
G: Yet, unless I belong to one of them, neither will recognize my very existence.
L: are you opposed to fighting mithos?
G: ... no, it's not like that. I certainly can't forgive him for the things he's doing.
L: but it pains you right?
G: well...
G: even if we defeat mithos, I don't think we'll truly have defeated him.
L: yeah.
L: .. humans, elves, and and half-elves... all of us have to change.
G: can everyone really change?
L: we can't give up. everyone has the right to live in this world --- to see this scenery.
L: ... at least thats what i think.
G: you're right.
G: you've been really stubborn about not giving up
L: cant you think of a better word than stubborn?
G: maybe i'll try being a little stubborn too.
L: you sure know how to push a guy's buttons. oh well.
G: .. achoo!
L its getting pretty cold. wanna head back inside?
G: yeah, sounds good. thanks Lloyd.
L: huh? for what?
G: for just treating me like...
L: treating you like what?
G: ... nah, never mind.
L: what was that about? dork.
